11 Year Anniversary Special

Eleven years ago TODAY I displayed my first published storybook at my wedding reception! It was a HUGE hit and I've been creating storybooks ever since.

Family Magnet Puzzle

With the vinyl tile you easily cut any shape you want. I'm slightly obsessed with magnets and thought it would be fun to do a magnet puzzle using a family picture. The kids have had a great time putting it together and purposely putting the pieces in the wrong places to make everyone look funny:)

Fun NEW Quotes for Home Decor

The 12x12 laminate vinyl tiles work awesome for mounting our 12x12 pgs. The back is sticky and you can cut it any size:) Here's a few fun home decor things I've made using the 12x12 pg and also the 4x8 card... size is no longer a problem, you can make your decor any size you want! You can display on an easel or put a magnet on them.

Quick Cakes!

If you're looking for a fun bridal shower gift, mother's day gift, neighbor gift or just a "thinking of you" gift this is a great gift to keep on hand. It uses 1 deck of cards and you can make 5 sets of recipes. You could also add some paper bowls to this and make a darling gift basket... so many options:)

This is the same shadow box from the last post, but I added this fun 4x4 tile in place of the pumpkin. With the new import feature you can take your favorite 6x6 or 12x12 tiles and import them onto a 4x8 card and make 2 4x4 tiles :)

Halloween Shadow Box

Here's a fun 11x14 poster that makes for a cute Halloween/Fall decoration. It's only 5 points!!! Search the template gallery for "shadow" to see all the other fun shadow box templates that are available. Thanks Darcie Toom for desiging them... I LOVE THEM!

Thanksgiving Ideas

I am going to feel like Martha Stewart this year! If you are the host of Thanksgiving this year be sure to find out WHO is coming so you can make name place tags for all the guests and a placemat for all the kids! Type 39747 into the search in the template gallery!



I am in love with the place mats for the holidays! With 3 young children it is a fun and inexpensive way to have a little fun celebrating. Just go to our template gallery and type in 43230 and 41781 and when at the store pick up some dry erase markers for the kids to have fun at the table this year! (Could decorate the dry erase markers too! Sunflowers and glue gun? send me a photo if you do!)



For as little as 20 publishing points (and the cost of a clear, craft bucket) you can start this darling Thanksgiving tradition that will bring extra meaning and joy to your holiday! People at your table will have a little slip of paper under their plate and they will write a blessing or something they are thankful for and put it in the bucket. THEN, when your guests go home you can make this little blessing book with photos from the Thanksgiving celebration to keep and remember what everyone was grateful for at Thanksgiving 2011.... love it!!!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Two of my three kids are now in school - Thanks to Heritage Makers I already have both of their first day of school pages finished! Took a total of 5 minutes for BOTH of them - no cutting, pasting, gluing, printing out pictures, enlarging pictures, etc. GOTTA LOVE IT!!!

I am SOO excited about my new post bound album! As many of you know I use it for my "blog". I can't believe how easy it is to just swap out the photos, add some text and you're done! These 3 pages are from the gallery and took me less than 10 minutes to make - and they are beautiful - thanks to the original designers! If you haven't started doing anything with your pictures yet and you're overwhelmed, 12x12 pgs are a great place to start.

Father's Day -Another PERFECT gift!

For Father's Day this year I gave Jason some FUN Heritage Makers gifts! The junk food bucket was a big hit (especially with the kids), the tool box was an unexpected surprise, the fold out card was adorable and the Father's Day magazine "Family Time" stole the show! Although Jason received a magazine back in April he was just as surprised and excited about his new magazine. I've decided you can never go wrong with giving someone a magazine!!!

New Home Decor

My kids had a fun photo shoot at FotoFly - and I had a fun time turning the pictures into fun home decor items:)
